Total hit....

We celebrated Brynlee's birthday. She loves baby dolls. We got her a doll, but I wanted to give her a stroller. The thing with strollers is they break so easy. We have had several, but over and over we find them going to stroller heaven. I was in Wal-mart picking up some other things and thought I would glance down the clearance aisle. Of course wouldn't you know it they had a stroller that was more durable than the ones I had bought before. As I started looking closer at it thinking I might buy this.....I noticed a sticker that had $3.00 on it. I couldn't believe it. I didn't care if it lasted more than 10 minutes if I got it for $3.00. So away I went to the front. They rang it up for $10.00. I was so let down and began to rethink when I mentioned that it had a $3.00 sticker on it. So she called a supervisor over and she gave it to me for $3.19. I left a happy women, and it was a hit at the party!

Let just explain that outfit. Yes, I do have clothes that fit my child. I was helping Kendra with Blue and Gold friday. All the kids at the school get a piece of candy for wearing blue or gold. She wanted candy so she put on the shirt to help at the school. She then would not take it off! It was a fight to even put p.j.'s on.

Little girl + chocolate cake= happy girl!

This is a backpack that Kendra brought over and gave her. At first I didn't know if she liked it. This is what I found at 10:00pm running down the hall. Yeah, the sugar had an effect on this little one!

Happy Birthday Baby!

Today is Brynlee's birthday! She is 2. Yikes! I can't believe how fast she has grown up. 2 things I love about her are:
1. She loves to give kisses! (this could be a problem later, but now it is cute!)
2. Her laugh! It makes me smile.
Happy Birthday to my baby!

This was the scene...*breathe*

This week started off so horrible that I had to give it a few days, and a night of crafting/ adult conversation before I could even attempt to blog it! I should have known when I scheduled a root canal on Monday morning that it was going to be bad. I only thought it can't get worse. It will only get better from here. I was so wrong! Since I had somewhere to go I decided I needed a shower. So I put the girls and Cole in the bedroom, and locked it so I could shower quickly without any major disasters. The kids found a pair of siccors. Yes, Kailin decided everyone needed haircuts. Major disaster NOT avoided! She cut Brynlee's bangs really short! She took a chunk out of her brothers head. Who at the time had fallen asleep on his sister's bed. And then........she took the siccors to her own hair! Yes, there were tears shed when this is the scene I saw!

Lucky for me I have a wonderful friend that does hair. I called her in my moment of distress and she came right over. She fixed everyone's hair. Thank you Alisha! You are the bomb! After that disaster was handle we moved on to the root canal! No, I didn't take pictures. Lets just say there was pain involved. As we walk in the door from the dentist this was the scene.

Our new 10 gallon salt water fish tank was now down to 2 gallons. The filter was clogged and it was spilling the water out of the back of the tank! Yes, again their were tears! After soaking what water we could soak up out of the carpet I needed a break. Some retail therapy. I talked my 2 friends into going out shopping with me to Smith's were the Sobe's were on sale for .39 cents. On the car ride home we discovered they didn't take off my $8 in coupons, and over charged me for a case of Sobe. By that time the numbness had worn off, and I didn't care. All I wanted was some Tylenol. So I headed home. Shane cleaned up the fish tank, and with Shaylee's help saved the fish. I went to bed hoping in the morning all of it would have turned out to be a bad dream. I wasn't that lucky!

Looking back.......

There are a few things that I need to put on this blog since I am using it as my journal. Last weekend we went hiking and to Pine Valley were we stayed in a cabin with some friends of ours. It was a beautiful hike I had never heard of. Kanaraville Canyon I think that is the way you spell it.
After we headed up to Pine Valley. It was so fun!
My girls would not leave Toby alone! Poor guy was probably glad to be left alone!

Doesn't my husband take marvelous pictures!

I was worried that Shaylee was not going to have fun since there was no one her age. I was wrong! She is a wonderful big sister! She loves playing with the little girls. I love you Shaylee!

Highlight of the trip for me was the crawdad fishing. I have taken the kids down to the river to catch them, but never used a pole and bait to catch them. It was a blast! Kailin loved holding the poles and checking everything out.....until she fell in! She was soaked to her waste, and was still in good spirits. Then Cole showed her what we were all catching and I thought she was going to have a heart attack. It was worse than when I see snakes. Yeah, it was that bad!

Cole brought this water bottle determined to catch one, and keep it as a pet. Lucky for us we had a crawdad bake after and ate up all the little would be pets. lol

Everyone looking to see were the best spot to fish would be.

The boys right before they killed the crawdads.

These were our lovely hosts the Fullwoods. Alisha I hope you don't kill me for putting this on. I just loved it! They got all dressed up for breakfast!

All in all it was a great weekend! Yes, Shane and I will be replacing a pole and broom. Sad thing is it was us not the kids!

Love you Honey!

Man am I going to date myself with this post! 14 years ago (No that is not a typo) Shane and I got married! It seems like yesterday until I see the pictures, and then it sinks in that I will continue to get old! At least I have someone to grow old with. It has been a fun ride. Love you Shane!

Identity crisis.........

My little Kailin is having an identity crisis. She can't decide if she wants to be a princess or a cowgirl. I think I went through this with my oldest daughter too. At least Kailin still likes girly things. Yes, she dresses her self. lol

Pros and Cons of Afternoon Kindergarten.

Pro's : Nap time at least 1 hour alone!

Con's : Waking up Sleeping Beauty to go get the Kindergarten child.

I can't decide which is more worth it.

This last week........weekend flew by.

School ended for the week, but the fair was still going. Our ward does the taco booth. It is a really great fund raiser that only happens once every other year. I love that part. This year as I said I had to cut onions. I also pulled a shift in the booth. They (Daniela) did not tell me however that I would be wearing such an attractive outfit while I was there. It may have changed my mind.lol Here is a picture of Me, Kendra, and Colony that our other friend Alsiha took of us in our get up. She was lucky and pregnant so she didn't have to work with us. Lucky Duck!

Back to School?????

This year so many things about going back to school have been different.
First it is the same week as the fair.
Second my ward is in charge of the Navajo Taco booth. (Of which I am the lucky person who has now cut 75 pounds of onions)
Third Shaylee is in 7th grade and all grown up. When did that happen?
Fourth Trey took off on foot for school the first day without telling me goodbye. He just couldn't wait to get there. So no pictures on the first day for the older 2.
Fifth and Final........Cole is now in Kindergarten. He is my little man that keeps things together here. What am I going to do without him?

This is how he wanted his hair for the first day of school. Yes, I am a mean mom and made him get a missionary haircut instead of the rock star haircut he wanted for the first day. Even with the hair he doesn't want he still will do good in school. I love you little man!

A little confusion......

Brynlee wants to be big like Kailin and go potty in the potty. The other day she said mom potty and started to run! Of course I will encourage that. She ran in and I wanted to see how much she could do on her own. She lifted both seats pulled up her shirt and said potty again. It was so funny. I think even though the girls out number the boys there are still too many boys in this house. lol Since she has a belly button that pokes out she thinks she should stand. I don't even know where to begin.
