Dominating the mat...

Cole is having a ton of fun learning to wrestle! This age is my funnest to watch. They are all pretty new, or you can tell they have older brothers.

Cole took second this week. Shane and I were running back and forth between the Kindergarten and 4th grade tables. Cole's 1st match was so fast that we missed the whole thing. He pinned him so quick that they didn't even put down take down points. Way to go buddy!

Trey dominated the mat this week. Taking 1st he had to beat out his friend Levi.

He pinned the first 2. The second he won by points. I don't know if he just didn't want to pin him because of friendship, or he was true competition. Score 6 to 1.

Way to go boys!

And the Johnson's bring home the medals...

Today was the boys first wrestling tournament. It was in Parowan and weigh-in was at 7-8am. Needless to say we were up early this morning. By 12pm Cole had only wrestled once and Trey was almost finished. Trey pinned his first 2 guys in seconds. His last match was a good one! He should have tied for the gold, but the score got messed up. I am just glad Trey is a good sport!

Cole same he pinned his first 2 guys pretty easy, but then the third was Cody Wright's son. He is a lot stronger than he looks for sure. He got pinned in the 2 round. He was awesome, and such a good sport as well.

I think the main reason my boys love this sport so much is it gives them one on one time with their Dad. Shane loves to see the boys wrestle. He has taught them to be good sports, respect the other players, and have fun! Thanks honey!

Dawn of the Dinosaurs....

Saturday Cole and I went on a date to the Dinosaur Museum in St. George. He was in Heaven. He loves dinosaurs so it was perfect.

Cole made sure I brought the camera, and he wanted a turn taking pictures. This is a picture he was proud of taking all by himself.

When we first came in they gave him a stamp of a dinosaur on his hand. He was so excited I think it is in every picture we took. LOL

It was dinosaurs days so the Museum was free! :) We went to get some ice cream afterwards, but the wanted to stop at Maverick and get a slurpie instead. Yes, he is a cheap date. It was fun spending one on one time with Cole. I love you buddy!
