Finally a free moment...

Last weekend we went to Pine Valley to spend time with my family. We were late getting off, but when we got up there dinner was waiting, and my dad had set up our tent. It was nice since Shane had to stay home and work. He did come up late Saturday for dinner. What a nice treat to see him.

We had such a nice time relaxing and visiting with everyone while the kids played. Even with him being the same size. Brynlee still loved holding the baby!

It was my sister's birthday so we had a full party on the mountain. Pinata included. Believe it or not this is the child that busted it open. That's my boy!

She battled my 6 ft nephews for her share of the candy. It was her party after all!

Even the little kids got a turn fishing down at the Lake.

Cole loved fishing so much that we stayed a little longer so he could have a long turn at fishing.

This is my sister Bridgette, her husband, and their little guy Easton.

This is Brynlee and I after hiking down to the Lake. We look so pretty when we camp.lol

This is my sister DaNae she was making sure that the boys weren't getting too wet! hahaha

This is my sister-in-law Raelene and her daughter Calista. Isn't she adorable?!

I asked everyone if they had their coats as we backed out the drive way, and of course Kailin said yes. Then when it started to get cold she realized why I wanted her to still have it on. So I made these sleeves from some tights that she was wearing earlier.

Most of the grandchildren loved playing with Grandpa's new hat! Brynlee loved it too!

This is my nephew Easton. He was sick and still so happy! Yes, he shared his cold with me, and now I am home sick! Thanks for sharing!lol

Last but not least I had to blog this photo of my mom. I told her I would, and now I will see how long it takes before she notices this lovely thing. I love you mom, and thank you for all the hard work it took to put it together! You are truly an example to me!

Happy Birthday!

I will have to post later to catch up, but right now I am posting about today! Cole is turning 6. Six years ago I was sitting in the Hospital not knowing if my baby would live. Today he is still here. What a fighter!

Six things I love about Cole:
1. His sense of humor!
2. How something said will trigger a song in his mind, and he will start to sing it.
3. His smile!
4. His laugh!
5. How he is so helpful with his sisters.
6. How kind he is to others.
I love you Bud!

Brynlee what am I going to do with you?

Being the mom of THIS 2 year old can be exhausting! Yes, what you are seeing is my very busy 2 year old helping make breakfast! I left the pancake batter alone for 2 minutes to help my son find socks for school. I came walking back into the kitchen to find my little chef at work!
Caught!

Good friends, good times......

Last night we celebrated Trey's birthday with a party! He had some of his friends come over for pizza and night games! We also did Trey's favorite thing and went to THE BIG CHILL and got each one a snow cone. He got night vision goggles and loves them.

He has such a good group of friends. We missed a couple of boys who couldn't come.

We topped it off with an ice cream cake! Trey said this was his best birthday ever! Lucky for mom she found some major deals to make it all possible!

The wonderful world of color!

Brynlee has hit the coloring stage. I think all my kids have gone through this at one time or another. She is always showing me her beautiful art work. Be it on the walls, or her legs, or her hands. She is so proud of her creations. I am just glad that crayola came out with washable markers! Yeah! It makes it a lot less stressful. So if for some reason she shows up to church or you see us in the store, and I look like I have a smurf for a child. She was just being creative except this time she got a hold of something she shouldn't have. lol
