Party like a Princess...

We had such a good time celebrating Kailin's birthday. She gets silly when she is the center of the show, but she loves it. We invited some of the little girls she plays with over for some dress up and cake! Thanks to my friend Kendra, My mother-in-law Marcia, and Shaylee all the girls also got their fingernails done too!

After her prince charming came home. We started to party again!

The Swyers came over celebrated with us like we do every year. Kristen turned 7 and Kailin turned 4. We started this on Kailin's first birthday, and I will love doing it until the girls get to old and want to do their own thing.

Happy Birthday Princess...

Today my little girl turns 4. Happy Birthday Kailin!

Four things I love about Kailin.
1. Her smile. She has always had a smile that can make your heart melt.
2. Her spunk! She has a lot of it!
3. She loves her brothers and sisters.
4. Her creativity!

Pine Wood Derby

This was an important year for the Pinewood Derby. First, it was Trey's last year. Second, his first 2 years his car didn't finish. :( Yes, I helped him the first year. Second year I wasn't allowed near the car. Something about the axles not being square? Anyhow he needed to at least finish! Not only did he finish he got 3rd place! Yeah Trey!
The line up!

We had a few that needed help making weight! So some of the Dad's stepped into help.

The boys lining their cars up on the tracks!

The tracks! We rent this track from Micheal Moss, and his family. They are great and do a wonderful job! We had cars finishing within a 10th of a second from another. To close for me to call!

Trey waiting at the bottom of the tracks for his car. He had such a good time!

This is where I am a bad mom. I am just now realizing I didn't take any pictures of him with his car or awards. Oh well, I guess I will do that tomorrow.
Thank you to all the wonderful leaders. Without you I could never have pulled this off!

Entering the New Year with a bang!

Our family tradition has always been... after a night of staying up late and eating junk food. We get up and first thing head for the mountains for some snow tubing. This year we only went to Apple Valley, but had just as much fun! Trey catching some air!

Cole getting the hang of it.

This year we got new sleds. They were so fun! Shane and I even tried them out!

Kailin having a ball playing in the snow. She was the only one NOT brave enough to try the sleds.

Shaylee was good to take Brynlee down with her. I am glad she saved her wipe outs for after she was done taking her. LOL

After sledding we stopped by my moms house to see how painting their basement was going. That is when my Dad got the call about his Hay. This is my Dad's hay.

This is my Dad and the truck that was supposed to be delivering the hay. Yes, the driver is fine! It took all day, and part of the next to get the mess cleaned up. Shane was a good sport, and stayed behind from his brother's bachelor party to help!

This is my awesome brother-in-law and his new bride Natalie! Their wedding was the next day.

This is Cole and Sam. He kept telling everyone that his buddy was getting married.

After a packed couple of days you would think we would lay low, but no. Up next the Pinewood Derby!

While the husband is away on the blog I will play...

For New Year's I got the best gift ever! My friend Alisha surprised me by showing up at my house. I also got to see Randi. My friends are important to me, and having them show up unexpected was a fun treat!

Since I wasn't the only one Alisha was surprising we spent the evening at the Johnson's. They know how to host a party. Even if it was last minute. Thanks guys!

The kids played the Wii

The guys played on their ipods

The girls took pictures and talked of course! LOl

The only injury of the night was these 2 boys running in different directions around a car to have their heads meet up on the other side. Cole now looks like he has blue eye shadow on.

The best part of New Year's was my midnight kiss from this guy! I love you Shane, and I am looking forward to another awesome year!

Too bad he didn't ask for his front teeth for Christmas...

Yes, he is excited to have lost his first tooth.

I think my kids are racing to see how fast they can get on the naughty list...

And the WINNERS are...
Believe it or not she is not it. LOL

Kailin with Byrnlee as a close second! The other 3 are BATTLING for third place.

I was wondering what peoples thoughts on doubling up on Prozac when children are out of school?
