Daddy's Haircut

It has been a very long weekend for Cole!

What I should have done was take Cole to Aunt Kim and had his haircut, but of course I didn't. Shane said he could do it and since pictures were two weeks away I let him. Thinking of course if it was a bad one we could let it grow a little before pictures.

Cole was done and looking good, or so Shane and I both thought. Cole on the other hand thought Dad missed a few pieces and decided to help him fix it. He took the scissors and away he went. This being the end result. Now how do you fix that before pictures?

Trash Collector

Cole loves to collect trash. Rocks, shot gun shells, dead cow heads (Thanks Aunt Bridgette), Dad's old business cards that sort of thing.

Friday morning I asked him a question and he answered without opening his mouth. I asked what he had in his mouth. I assumed it was MY chocolate therefore he was in trouble. He said "nothing" without opening his mouth. Of course I had to find out what was in there. I made him open his mouth.

He had put a 22 shell in his mouth and bit down on it. It had clamped down on his tooth. He could not pull it off. I could not pull it off. Shane half asleep could not pull it off. After Shane scared the tar out of the poor kid for chewing on bullets he was awake enough to pull it off. What is the saying boys will be boys.

Easter

I love Easter. I love to see all the little girls at church in their new Easter dresses. I always wanted to find Easter dresses for my girls to match. I did this year it was so fun! We always give our kids church clothes with the lecture about how Easter is to remember our Savior you know that one. Well, we did it different this year and it totally worked. We gave each of the kids a picture of Christ in their baskets and then just asked what they got. When they said a picture of Jesus we asked about the picture and why they would get it for Easter. I was perfect they gave the lecture not us and it made it fun! My kids knew more than I thought they did. I hope you all have had as good of an Easter as we did.

Brynlee's getting so BIG!

Brynlee is on solid foods and loving it. She gets so mad because I can't feed her fast enough. She wouldn't even let me take on picture of her smiling without the spoon in her mouth.

Soccer Season

Soccer season is in full swing. Shaylee and Trey are both playing on the same days in different leagues. It makes it very difficult to run back and forth between the two with the other three. Some days like today I feel like I am a chicken running around with it's head cut off!

Brotherly Love!

Like I said before Cole loves his little sister and takes care of her.

Hiking with Grandma and Grandpa Brown

Yes, I love pictures! I, my sister Bridgette, my brother Brigham and Grandma & Grandpa Brown took the kids up to Little Creek to go hiking. The kids loved getting dirty and playing kick the can. After we headed for some tacos at Bridgette's (she is a good cook) then to the track, because yes I had three! Brigham and Bridgette are determined to have me in shape by the time we all head to California.

My Hero!

Cole is my hero! He loves his little sister. Today we went to Red Cliffs for Sring Break and Kailin fell in the water. She was saved only after Cole started yelling that Kailin was in there. I hope he will always protect her! (From the boys as well!)

Spring Break!

Spring Break and Kids are out of school. Yeah!! I wanted to put some pictures of the kids hiking around Red Cliffs.

MY TWO BEST FRIENDS!

So nobody will be offended. I have more than two best friends I just really like these two today. We went on a hike at Red Cliffs. Who's bright idea was that? Kendra-j/k It was really fun and the kids were having so much fun climbing on all the rocks. When we got to the end there were these ICE COLD pools and waterfalls for the kids to play in. I asked Kailin if she wanted to get her feet wet and she said "NO!" and started to hug the rock. Trey had climbed up on the top rock and wanted his picture before he slid in the water. I turned around with my camera ready and I heard yelling behind me. I turned back around and there was Randi Waegerle in the water with her baby in a front pack climbing out of the ICE COLD water. I thought she had fallen in. I started to help then she said something about my kid so I look up to see Kendra on the other side of the bank with her baby on her back in a carrier soaking wet. She was holding Kailin who was soaking wet. I leave Randi to fend for herself and run over to get Kailin. Everyone except me was soaking wet and freezing. It started fun ended a little crazy! Everyone including Kailin is fine. We are still waiting on the verdict for the digital camera Randi had with her when she jumped in to save my baby. What friends won't do for you. Thanks guys!Add Image
