Graduation

Kindergarten Graduation was today. All the kids looked so cute dressed up with their graduation caps on.

They sang songs, and received diplomas. Here is Cole with his diploma.

This is the wonderful teacher Cole has had this year. Mrs. Holdaway has done wonders with Cole. Helping him jump leaps and bounds from where he was. Thank you for all your patience and extra effort on Cole behalf. You are a great teacher!

Road Trip!

These are my cousins. Autumn on the left and Betsy on the right. They are both expecting babies. It is Betsy's first baby. She was having a baby shower up north. My mom had a great a idea that she, my girls, and I crash it! We did and had a ton of fun! Her sisters made wonderful smoothies, and they had different breads with, of course my favorite, cream cheese. Yum!

Since the shower was early in the morning we drove up on Friday night to my brother Brian's house. We got there pretty late and my girls were pretty tired. Brynlee started out on the air mattress with Kailin then climbed in bed with Shaylee.

Pushing Shaylee out onto the floor. This is where I found her when I was done visiting with my brother and his wife Kim. Using the mattress as a pillow.

Not only did I get to see my cousins, but the girls got to hang out with their cousin too. This is Kailin, my niece Katie, and Brynlee.

Of course how could I go all that way and not see my good friend Alisha. This is what she looked like when she opened the door to see me! I loved her reaction!

This is a better picture!

Brynlee just loves her little boy Matthew. They had such a fun time playing and getting into the fruit snacks together!

Since it was an up and back trip we didn't get to spend much time, but enough time to have the best beautician in the world cut Kailin's mullet off. You are the best Alisha nothing like a spur of the moment hair cut, huh? Actually I just wanted to get my new green purse before you sold it on ebay! LOL Can't wait until next weekend!

We had such a good time traveling up and back with my mom. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Craft Night!

I have a wonderful husband that lets me go and craft with some of my girl friends. Last night we had so much fun! These were the craft Bonita did. They are mouse and Rat traps. You take the hardware off and mod podge paper or fabric on them then replace the spring. They make great magnets. I made this mouse trap one to go on my fridge.

This isn't a very good pic, but it is of the Rat trap one. I am doing one for each of my kids so they have a place to hang all their papers from school. This is Brynlee's with the B.

I forgot to pull the camera out until it was time to pack up. So I only got pics of the die hards! LOL This is Colony! Peace! Oh wait are you saying it is 2am?

This is Kendra hard at work! Yes, I was dying down, but she was going strong! Thanks for letting us use your cricut!

This is Bonita the host of the evening! Does that clock say 1:55 am? Yes, we left late! LOL But after our midnight run for Nachos we had the energy to keep going! LOL

Thanks gals for a wonderful evening!

While the boys are away the girls will play...

This weekend was the Fathers and Sons. We girls look forward to it as much as the boys. It is tradition to get a picture of the girls and I. I love to update my picture every year and watch them grow. This year Kendra and her girls came with us.

My three girls!
Shaylee will be 13 in a couple of weeks. AAAHHHHHH! I know I am not ready for a teenager.

Kailin just turned 4. She is still growing her hair out after the last haircut!
Brynlee is 2. She is fun, but terrible 2's doesn't begin to describe it. LOL
After pictures we went to eat at Iceberg. Hamburgers and ice cream for everyone! There goes the diet. I think I gained the 4 lbs back in that one meal that it took all week to lose.

Brynlee loves to pose for pictures.
After dinner it was off to do some girl shopping! Kailin has now decided she is a BIG girl and wants a "hank top" to. Man is Dad going to freak when he finds out! LOL
We were out so late that we needed to finish our girl stuff the next morning. Kendra and her girls came over for breakfast! Yummy!
Then on to painting nails. It is hard when all three wanted theirs done at the same time. Yes, as Kailin pointed out I have bed head. LOL
Kailin got her first toe ring after her pedicure. I think she soaked her feet at least 4 times.
Brynlee got to put on some make up by herself!

Some of the other girls had their first too. Shaunie and Kailin loved getting their first clay facials. I can't seem to get the picture to download, but Kendra looked just like Mulan minus the red lipstick. All in all it was a great weekend! I love my girls and spending time with them. Thanks Kendra, Shaunie and Lacie for coming with us!

Divide and Conquer...

Tonight, along with Kaige Steglich and Lincoln Johnson, Trey received his Arrow of Light award. I am so proud of him and all his hard work. He has such wonderful leaders. They are always on the ball. Without them Trey would not have gotten this far. Thanks Brother and Sister Webb, and Brother Beatty.

The pinning of the mother. With as many boys as we had pinning their moms tonight I can't believe their wasn't blood!

The down side of Scouts. I love working with the boys, but giving up watching my Shaylee tonight knowing that because of Pack meetings; I have not been able to attend any of her choir concerts broke my heart. I love you Shaylee girl and hope that you also know how proud I am to be your mom! You are very talented and I love hearing you sing!

Shaylee and Trey I love you both!

Giveaway...

I am now following a wonderful blog! She is doing a giveaway that is so fun Make it and Love it.

Mother's Day...

What a wonderful day to honor such great women in our lives. Both my mom and mother-in-law are such great examples to me. I love them both, and can only hope to be more like them. My sisters and sister-in-laws are such great mothers as well. To be surrounded by such wonderful women is an honor! Happy Mother's Day to all you women.

Feeling Spoiled...

So today I came home from Cole's teacher conference and there were these beautiful flowers waiting for me. My first thought was to kill my husband for spending so much money when payday isn't until Friday. Well, I instantly felt bad for thinking such things when I read the card and they were from my wonderful friend Alisha. We were on the phone the other day and I saw an advertisement for a vase full of tulips for Mother's Day. I told her I should order myself some. LOL Then she had these tulips in my favorite color sent to me instead. Thanks Alisha!

When I called to thank Alisha I was telling her how good they made my table look, and she reminded me she wouldn't know since I hadn't blogged about it yet. With some of our tax refund money I got a little spoiled. We got a new table so our entire family can sit around the table and eat together. Yeah! It may be used, but it is new to me and I love it!
Of course looking at the table without my dishes wasn't the same. Yes, I got these too. Now, we all match. Yeah again!

And the lovely place mat in the picture above was sewn on this bad boy. Yep another toy. This one was all Shane. -K- What I am about to tell is to be kept from any of my husbands motorcycle riding friends got it. Shane took part of the money set aside for his motorcycle to buy me my sewing machine. Yeah!
And of course, I have to blog about the one and only thing I wanted with our tax refund money. My mixer. This baby is amazing. I can make 6 loaves of bread. Crush ice in the blender for snow cones. I haven't found anything I can't do with it yet! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!

Yes, girls have their toys too! These are what my new ones look like. Yes, I am very spoiled!

Who said dishes can't be fun?

Ok, I said dishes aren't fun, but playing in the bubbles is fun!

I can't tell if Trey likes bubbles, or just hates dishes! LOL
